Breweries
Commercial terms for breweries
The C&C kit will be installed onsite for all months excepting a short period in September/October (exact dates subject to agreement) when it will be temporarily installed at a nearby winery for grape fermentation capture
The kit will be delivered to you clean, serviced and ready for your use, ahead of your autumn ferment period
C&C will provide reinforced PVC hoses and standard fittings for your tanks with any necessary adjustments, which may incur additional charges
C&C will facilitate installation in conjunction with your brewery/engineering team
C&C will supply you with a buffer tank for immediate receipt of fermentation off-gas which will remain on your site, and CO2 storage tanks for CO2 produced
C&C is fully responsible for any routine maintenance and servicing, and for replacement of the kit if damaged or broken within normal use. Only in the case of wilful damage or neglect of our equipment shall the brewery be held responsible for repair/replacement.
During fermentation and CO2 production, the brewery will acquire a collection of filled compressed beverage-grade CO2 in standard size portable storage tanks
Regular automated testing will provide ongoing guarantee of quality of the CO2 produced
C&C team will visit regularly during the first year of installation to ensure capture is successful and that our equipment is working effectively and without disruption
C&C will be paid in an agreed monthly fee reflecting the displaced cost of CO2 to the brewery and the benefits of CO2 capture to brewery team, customers and wider stakeholders
Wineries
Commercial terms for wineries
The C&C kit will be delivered to you at least 1 week ahead of your fermentation period to allow for safe installation and testing
C&C will provide reinforced PVC hoses and standard fittings with any necessary adjustments which may incur additional charges
C&C will provide the installation & removal service for a one-off fee on each occasion covering the cost of safe electrical, gas and water connection and rain/weather protection
C&C will supply you with a buffer tank for immediate receipt of fermentation off-gas which will remain on your site, and CO2 storage tanks
C&C is fully responsible for any routine maintenance and servicing, and for replacement of the kit if damaged or broken within normal use. Only in the case of wilful damage or neglect of our equipment shall the winery be held responsible for repair/replacement.
After safe removal of the capture kit, the winery will be left with a collection of filled compressed food-grade CO2 in standard portable storage tanks
C&C team will visit regularly during the first year of installation to ensure capture is successful and that our equipment is working effectively and without disruption to activity on the winery
C&C will be paid a monthly fee for the time the capture kit is installed at the winery, plus any additional costs specific to the installation and removal. C&C will also facilitate re-sale or storage of any surplus CO2 for an additional nominal fee.
